Agus (Ajil Ditto) grew up under the strict guidance of his father, Sergeant Major Dedi (Wafda Saifan), a soldier injured during an operation in East Timor. After Dedi's death, Agus understood the magnitude of his father's sacrifice and resolved to follow in his footsteps by becoming a soldier. Amidst his duties and conflicts, Agus also struggled to keep his household with Evi (Adinda Thomas), so that it would not be destroyed like his family before. Slowly, he began to understand that his father's footsteps were not to be repeated, but rather used as a lesson in forging his own path.
